Pleasure Cruise Traveling

Have you spent years envying those who take cruises to Alaska or the Bahamas while you're stuck at home or driving to Florida? Well, now is the time to take action! Cruises aren't just for the rich anymore; they're for everyone! Cruise lines have dropped their prices low enough that just about anyone who wants to go can save enough to take a cruise.

Although you might look at the prices for cruises online or at your local travel agency, and think I'm crazy. It really is possible. The great thing about a cruise is that one price pays for everything. All your meals are included, and food is available constantly throughout the day! In my opinion, anywhere that feeds you well is always worth the price. However, if you happen to disagree, just start adding up how much you spend on food during a normal family vacation. Likely, you spend more than what the cruise is charging you.

Another cruise benefit, one that doesn't translate so easily into dollars, is related to how your vacation time
gets spent. You're never waiting in traffic when you're on a boat. You don't spend hours cooped up in the car, driving to your vacation destination, with the kids asking, "Mom, aren't we there yet?" Instead, your entire vacation time is spent having fun together in the sun.

It comes down to this question: what will a cruise really cost - both in time and money. I discovered by taking my first cruise that there are times when it is better to pay a little more at the start in order to have more quality time with your family. While I was hesitant to go on a cruise because of the cost, after one week on the water, I was converted to being a cruising fan.

My progression from hesitation to enthusiasm went like this: "I don't want to pay so much money." Then, I was persuaded: "Ok, I suppose we could." Next, I was on the cruise: "All right, THIS is the right stuff!" For a full week, I didn't cook or clean or even make beds. Maids and professional chefs were there to do it for us. Rather than having to drag the kids away from the TV, I had to get them to come inside now and then; there were so many fun outdoor events. For seven fabulous days, I was a queen. Ah, if only life was always like a cruise~
